Since the hotel is relatively small and private, away from the crowds, you’ll have the feeling of solidarity with the natural beauty of your surroundings. You’ll have direct access to many of the best swimming spots by simply walking down a short flight of stairs and jumping straight into the Aegean from the small pier located directly below the hotel. Each room has satellite TV, a safe deposit box, air conditioning (though you’ll prefer to leave your door open to let the cool ocean breeze fill the room at night) and kitchen facilities.
Hike the 270 steps up to Oia for spectacular views!
If you’d like to stay in relatively good shape during your holidays, you can hike the 270 steps up to the main village of Oia, or traverse the uphill switchback road leading into town. If you take the road, half way up you’ll find the path to the nice black pebble beach of Katharos, along with a beach bar offering cocktails and traditional Greek food.
For those truly looking for relaxation and minimal physical effort during your stay, there are donkey rides available after 11:00hrs, for 5 EUR (approximately 7USD), up the steep winding steps to Oia and taxis can be called to take you to the top of the hill.
