The coastal city of New Plymouth, New Zealand is a perfect place for a relaxed getaway! If you’re after a comfortable, modern and well priced accommodation, the Quality Hotel Plymouth International provides this and more.

Staying here is a good choice as the Quality Hotel Plymouth International is located within walking distance to popular activities such as the boardwalk along the coast, and the city centre. With complimentary Wi-Fi, an onsite restaurant, swimming pool and plenty more, it offers all you need to enjoy your stay in comfort!

We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) Superhost status, recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and amenities. Excellent location and facilities!

The staff are very friendly and can point you in the direction you need to go, you must check out the coastal boardwalk strip - even if it’s the only thing you have time for!

The swimming pool is massive and located outdoors behind the main entrance to the hotel. Make sure you pack your swimming gear because it is a great activity to make the most of during your stay. There is also a small spa located right next to the swimming pool.

There is also a fitness room, guest laundry and all the usual amenities and facilities that are provided by a 4 star hotel. Just to note, there is plenty of space for parking in and around the hotel area.

There is a supermarket located just a few minutes walk from here too, if you don’t want to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food at the La-Carte Restaurant is reasonably priced but I would recommend eating out as New Plymouth has plenty of delicious restaurants on offer such as Lone Star! A great family bar and restaurant, you must try their steaks!

Standard rooms are better than standard! (from USD 83)

A standard room will set you back around 170 NZD (111 USD) during peak seasons, but they regularly have specials and the pricing can come down to just 100 NZD (65 USD). Keep an eye out on the website as well as on New Zealand accommodation websites such as GrabOne (see link below).

The standard rooms have a queen size bed, a desk area, sky TV and a generous bathroom. A ground floor unit is recommended for ease of moving luggage to and from your room, and you also get a nice street view of New Plymouth here. The rooms have good heating and cooling systems, in case you need to use either.

There is a small kitchenette area, so you will need to look at dine out options or buy take away, but as stated above, New Plymouth has some excellent meal options and being only a few minutes walk from the city centre you won’t have any trouble finding something!
