One of the top three events in Austin, The Trail of Lights is a must-see when visiting. 52 years in the making, with over 375,000 in attendance, 2 million light bulbs, and taking 15,000 hours to create, it is an extraordinary event that goes on for the entirety of December. As a non-profit organization, funds are raised from donations by individuals and the business community to produce this memorable event. Boasting live performances, fun runs, 20 unique food trucks, and a marketplace, the holiday cheer arrives on The Trail of Lights.
The Trail of Lights is open December 9th through December 23, with the front gates open from 7:00-10:00 p.m. each evening.
