Bord Du Lac Park also known as Millennium Park, is found along the Lake Charles waterfront. This waterfront includes a walking path, a splash park, a rock climbing wall and lots of attractions for kids to enjoy.The park is part of the Lakefront Promenade, which is found along the lake. In the area, you will find a marina and a veterans memorial. Visitors can take bike rides and carriage rides here as well. There is a nature trail here you can embark on to enjoy the scenery of this area. Interestingly, swamp tours are also offered. In the area are a variety of restaurants such as Landry’s Seafood, Saltgrass Steakhouse, the Rosewater Grill and Tavern (for some great grilled meat), and the Ember Grille and Wine Bar.
