Buckhorn Lake is a well-known lake located in the townships of Selwyn and Trent Lakes in Ontario’s Peterborough County. The lake was given its name thanks to the shape of the lake, which resembles a buck’s head. There is also a small town named Buckhorn surrounded by the lake. You can visit and taste the local delicious cuisines at restaurants like Pizza Alloro, or have some great barbecued meals at the Marley’s Bar and Grill. You can also visit the summer cottages to purchase local-made merchandise. Wolf Island Provincial Park is located nearby (around 20 km away). It attracts plenty of tourists round the year.
