The United States Consulate was established to protect US citizens visiting foreign countries.
When in Calgary, the US Consulate can be found on Macleod Trail in downtown. The Olympic Plaza is within walking distance of the consulate. The plaza was built for the 1988 Olympics and used for the medal ceremonies. Today the Olympic Plaza is a fashionable park and meeting place and a hot spot for tourists. Another great place to visit near the consulate is Reader Rock Garden. This beautiful park features cultured landscapes, bridges and the Reader House, which includes a newly added cafe. When visiting downtown Calgary, check into one of these hotels & vacation rentals near the US Consulate.
