The Château de Gizeux is an old castle in France dating back to at least the Middle Ages. Over the last few centuries, it was altered and renovated, most notably during the Renaissance period. An interesting fact about the Château de Gizeux is that it is 250 meters long, making it one of the longest castles in France, and the longest one in the region of Touraine. The castle is located in the heart of a park, which is a beautiful sight to discover on its own. Architecturally the building is a mix of medieval style and Renaissance as a result of being built at different times. Look into these hotels and vacation rentals near the Château de Gizeux.
