Published Oct 13, 2017

Commissioners Park is a little park in Ottawa that has some nice views of nature. It is a little on the small side for a park. However, Commissioners Park comes alive during the annual Tulip Festival, which occurs in May every year. During the annual Tulip Festival, the park turns into a major tulip viewing area, with the largest number of tulips in the region. For those that are big coffee drinkers, there is a Tim Horton’s within walking distance, right around the corner. They have really great coffee there. Dows Lake is close to Commissioners Park too. You can expect pretty views of the body of water if you visit. Be sure to bring a camera to snap some pictures. That way, you can keep those memories after your vacation has ended.
