Kandrich Mountain stands 638.6 metres above sea level and is perhaps the highest mountain in the Bingen Forest. Kandrich Mountain is situated in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The mountain is also located close to Daxweiler in the county of Bad Kreuznach. Apart from its remarkable height, Kandrich Mountain has a rich history. It is said that the first type Enercon E-66 wind turbine was initially installed on this mountain. During the World War II, Kandrich Mountain served as a station of the US Armed Forces from 1986 until 1991. The summit of the mountain is mainly treeless.
