The Maringa’s Cathedral in Maringa Brazil is certainly a monumental structure that hard to miss as it is massive! The huge structure reaches a towering 124 meters (406.8 ft) in height and is the tallest church in South America and the 16th tallest in the world. The architect was said to be inspired by the sputnik satellites when he designed the iconic conical shape. The foundation stone came from a piece of marble once located in St Peter’s Basilica and was also blessed by Pope Pius the XII. Once you are done visiting, head over to the neighboring parks in the area. For instance, take a walk at the Japanese Park and take in the beauty of the marvelous koi ponds. Or perhaps, head over to Alfredo Werner Nyffeler Park that has some great fishing opportunities. To indulge in all these and more, book a stay in one of these great accommodations near Maringa’s Cathedral, Brazil.
