The Pennsylvania State Memorial is a monument in Gettysburg National Military Park that commemorates the 34,530 Pennsylvania soldiers that fought in the Battle of Gettysburg. The battle took place in the month of July, in the year 1863. The memorial was completed in 1914 and is the largest state monument on the Gettysburg Battlefield.
