With more than 40,000 exhibits, the Revolutionary Museum in Hanoi, Vietnam showcases the conflicts and revolutions in the Southeast Asian nation. The museum, inaugurated in 1959, shows exhibits from the liberation movements against the French to the establishment of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Communist party. The museum is near Phu Hai Prison, which dates back to 1862! The prison once held thousands of prisoners with as many as 200 crammed together in one cell.
