In Alexandria’s Old Town National Historic Landmark District lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the American Revolution. These are the remains of the soldiers who fought during the American Revolutionary war and remains are unidentified up till this day. The memorial is in a churchyard of an Old Presbyterian Meeting House. Another attraction that you should see is the Liberty Bell Center, which houses the liberty bell that is an icon of American Independence. It is open daily from 9am to 7pm and admission is free to all. There are also exhibits about the liberty bell, women suffrage, and more.
