Located along the banks of the Truckee River is the Truckee River Walk. It is now referred to as The Riverwalk District. It is a bustling area filled with entertainment, shopping and dining establishments galore. For example, you can choose from a range of cuisines to sample from here, from Mexican to Russian and Italian food. If you are staying in the vicinity, do drop by the National Automobile Museum. It boasts an impressive collection of over 200 antique cars. When you’re in the area, you can also check out the Nevada Historical Society. Drive past the iconic neon Reno sign that has made guest appearances in a couple of movies (and snap a picture of it yourself!) or visit the Peavine Peak: the summit of Peavine mountain. Keep reading to find the best accommodation deals near the Truckee Riverwalk District!
