The Van Son Pagoda in Vietnam is a beautiful structure that’s perched atop a hill, offering travellers awe-inspiring views of the surrounding scenery. It was founded in 1964 by Buddhists who wanted this to be a place of meditation. The temple overlooks the Con Dao town below and An Hai Lake which is farther along. The main reason you should come here is to enjoy a view that you won’t get anywhere else in the region. Nearby attractions are the Con Dao National Park, a place that is home to sea turtles and lush forests. You can also visit the Mieu An Son Temple which houses a shrine to the Lord Nguyen Anh.
