1. Fingers & Chat: seaside dining pub (inside Bay 101)
This is a great brunch or lunch place right near the harbor with an awesome view. It is located right on the water inside the Bay 101 building (and offers more than just this dining option just in case you are looking for dinner with the same view). However, if you love mashed potatoes made to look like little icing statues and vegetables used for decoration, then this is your place for brunch. From the outside, it looks super fancy with white tablecloths and includes 5-star service, but without the 5-star price tag. For a nice, filling breakfast of eggs, potatoes, and some salad with unlimited coffee it will only cost you 12,000 KRW (10 USD)! They also have French toast and eggs Benedict on the brunch menu. If you are looking for fish and chips, they also have you covered! For lunch, fish an chips are actually one of their most popular dishes.

2. Pancake Epidemic

If you are in Busan and love pancakes, we have found your heaven. At Pancake Epidemic you can choose from two types of delicious pancakes: original and peanut/Nutella. The portions are huge and the prices are fair. Locals also frequent this spot for their awesome cups of coffee! The locally famous Stumptown roast is served up here freshly brewed, in latte form — iced or hot — regular old espresso, or cold brew coffee. Being located across the street from the beach is not hurting this breakfast spot either, as while devouring all of these delicious pancakes you also have a great view. As you can imagine, this place fills up on weekends because of the location and quality that they offer, so don’t be in a rush if you come here during busy times. Otherwise, this place has been highly rated by a lot of guests for its relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, and calming views, so go check it out!

Melbourne is a famous brunch spot for locals in Busan due to their tasty and affordable breakfast sets starting at 13,000 KRW (11 USD). Here you will find fruit covered French toast, fluffy pancakes, and eggs, sausage, or salads! Salads start at 10,000 KRW (8 USD) but are rather small if you are looking for a lighter and healthier option. If you love big breakfasts to start your day, you can opt for the Melbourne brunch, which consists of eggs, sausage, salad, and toast with an americano for only 13,000 KRW (11 USD)! They also have gotten two thumbs up for their coffee, as well as the view outside. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop!

Craving a slice of New York style pizza in the heart of Busan? Look no further and head to Slice of Life pizza! Like back at home in New York, slices here are HUGE, and with a range of choices for your toppings, you can’t go wrong here. Slices start at 3,500 KRW (2.5 USD) for a cheese slice and go up from there. Some of the favorites here are the pepperoni, Hawaiian, and the margarita, which are all sold by the slice, half a pizza or whole pizza. If you head here with some friends and want to custom make your pizza, this is also an option. Prices start around 19,000 KRW (17 USD) for a whole cheese pizza, and then toppings are additional. If you are thirsty, they have soda and beer to go with your pizzas. Beer starts at 4,000 KRW, and they have three options on draft and another five or so in the bottle, all different varieties too! Since they have grown a local following in Busan, they have more than one location for you to eat your fair share of pizza. If you are looking for a cozy and smaller, more intimate atmosphere head to the branch in Daeyeon/KSU area. If you want to be close to a beach and have more selection for your pizzas and beer, head to the location in Gwangali Beach as it has great views to boot. This small pizza company is also known for their friendly staff, so don’t expect anything less than five-star service!
