Bahubali in Gommateshwara, Hassan is a monolithic structure and is a revered site for Jains as a famous site of pilgrimage. It is one of five statues of Bahubali found in Karnataka. There are more than 650 steps to climb to reach the top of the hill and it is not for the unfit. At the top you will see a Jain shrine lots of idols.

6. Be enamoured at the Kedareswara Temple
The Kedareswara Temple is 30 km (18.6 miles) away from Hassan, Karnataka. It is a religious site and was built in reverence of the Hindu God, Shiva. The overwhelming architectural brilliance of the temple draws huge crowds of tourists, every year. There are carvings on the temple walls depicting scenes from the Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita and the Ramayana. The temple took over 80 years to complete.
