Bisle Ghat is a conserved forest in Bisle village. It has a picturesque spot called Bisle View Point from where you can catch a glimpse of all the mountain ranges in the Hassan district. With a beautiful view of the valley and the Giri River flowing through the mountain ranges, you can enjoy the seating area built by the forest department and surround yourself with the nature and the breathtaking view of the western ghats.

Bahubali in Gommateshwara, Hassan is a monolithic structure and is a revered site for Jains as a famous site of pilgrimage. It is one of five statues of Bahubali found in Karnataka. There are more than 650 steps to climb to reach the top of the hill and it is not for the unfit. At the top you will see a Jain shrine lots of idols.

6. Be enamoured at the Kedareswara Temple

The Kedareswara Temple is 30 km (18.6 miles) away from Hassan, Karnataka. It is a religious site and was built in reverence of the Hindu God, Shiva. The overwhelming architectural brilliance of the temple draws huge crowds of tourists, every year. There are carvings on the temple walls depicting scenes from the Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita and the Ramayana. The temple took over 80 years to complete. The best time to visit the temple is from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Chandragiri Hills are located in Shravanabelagola in Hassan, Karnataka. These hills have been praised for their beauty in ancient history books since 300 BC when Bhadrabahu and Chandragupta Maurya visited the hills to attain peace and tranquility. The hills are called the Chandragiri Hills after the fact that Chandragupta Maurya was among the first priests who lived and performed worship here.
