Seafood cannot get much fresher than a purchase at Gold Coast Fisherman’s Cooperative. Fishermen sell their locally and fresh caught seafood at a great value. The cooperative was created in 1970 and now sees a fleet of 12 trawlers selling their catches. You can find eastern king prawns, spanner crabs, Balmain bugs, sand crabs, and an assorted by-catch options from the various fishermen. Enjoy the generally festive atmosphere down by the cooperative and snatch up some delicious seafood for dinner later that evening.
