Since 1973, Tamworth has been hosting one of the biggest music festivals in the world - the Tamworth Country Music Festival - every January. The music festival is free, and features over 700 country acts every year to be enjoyed by adults and kids alike. Some performances that were featured in 2017’s concert included notable artists like Jodie Crosby, Christie Lenee, Germein Sisters, and Johanna Hemara, to name a few. This year the festival was able to draw in its biggest attendance yet, garnering 31,000 in ticket sales - a huge increase (30%) coming from 2016 - so expect it to be bigger, more welcoming, and more fun in 2018!
