4. Try a stand-up paddleboard

As an inexpensive way to adventure and spend some time on the water, paddleboarding is one of the best ways to spend a hot summer day. Rent a board at Tahoe City Kayak because they offer rentals off a pier, ensuring you do not have to carry the heavy board anywhere but directly into the water! Each rental includes your choice of paddleboard style and a paddle. Be sure to book online before going to make certain a board will be there waiting for you. Spend a full day on the lake for $75, a half day for $50 or an hour for $25.

A relatively small beach, it is perfect for a relaxing evening, a small picnic or grab a spot to read your favorite book.
