The Starlight De Heaven is a fully equipped, cozy, two-story cottage that offers three spacious bedrooms with their own entrances, two private bathrooms and a spa bathtub. The home can accommodate up to eight people. The home also features a wrap around deck on its upper floor that can provide 360-degree and panoramic views of the mountains and the lake. The house is also located right next to the pine forest and it is tucked in the quiet part of the village, far from the main highway. It is an easy walking distance to the lake, Church of the Good Shepherd and Tekapo Village.

2. Serene countryside farmstay (from USD 125)

This quiet and cozy homestead called the Sawdon Station is a high country sheep station in the Mackenzie Country which is home to around 6000 merino sheep. This century-old homestead features a large farm kitchen, pantry, two toilets, large claw foot bath, four bedrooms, outdoor furniture, and large trees where you can just sit down or lie under for shade. There is also an excellent log burner, a heat pump, and a fast internet connection. Its farm-y environment makes it a very perfect place for you to escape from all of the stress and just relax for just a while.

3. Peaceful cottage in Sawdon Station

This peaceful shearers quarters in Sawdon Station is located just a mere five-minute drive to Lake Tekapo. During September, this shearing quarters is occupied for a week by people that shear sheep once a year, but it is available for rent during the rest of the year. It features all of the basics such as a large kitchen, a heat pump, wood fire and four bedrooms. There is also free Wi-Fi access available. Children are also free to play and pet their friendly sheep, chickens and their dog, Odie.
