If you aren’t local, chances are you won’t know your way around. To have a building that is 52 stories high as a point of reference when going out is a convenience to say the least! You have a soaring landmark to help you find your way back at the end of each day. And not to mention the fact that the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel is connected to JR Nagoya Station. Transportation is easy! Everything, such as subways, trains, and tour buses, uses Nagoya Station as a hub. They also allow baggage check before check-in and after check-out so you don’t have to go hunting for a coin locker if you want to store your belongings.

The image shows the 38-square-meter (409-square-foot) standard twin wide room. While only a standard room, it boasts a large space, allowing you to relax comfortably. There are 2 single beds measuring 120 cm x 200 cm each (47 inches x 78.7 inches), and each has an ottoman at the foot of it. The extra space is sure to make you happy, especially if you are tall!

There is an opulent dresser with 3 mirrors and gold edges, perfect for women to get ready before heading out. There is also a desk with ample natural light coming in, so business and reading can be done in comfort.

After a relaxing stay have breakfast at Pergola on the 15th floor and enjoy the Pergola buffet. Inside Pergola is a gazebo, making you doubt you are in the middle of a city with its resort feel. They offer over 60 different western and Japanese dishes with a focus on local gourmet cuisine where you can enjoy traditional Nagoyan dishes.

The kishimen (wide, flat noodles) corner is self-service, and you can cook all the noodles you want in the big pot, and then add the soup and toppings as you please. Kishimen noodles go down easily and are quickly turned into energy for the day so it is a perfect breakfast item.

For local gourmet dishes at the Pergola breakfast buffet, other than kishimen, you can have miso cutlet or ogura toast, as well as many others.

Like kishimen, you can enjoy cooking ogura toast yourself in just the way you like it. Start with toasting the bread in a toaster, then add margarine and ogura bean paste on top. It is almost like a dessert!

Non-local dishes include favorites such as pancakes and freshly-squeezed orange juice. Even just taking a bit here and a bit there from the buffet means you end up with a big pile on your plate … make sure not to get too stuffed!

Have an extravagant holiday and taste local dishes at Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel

As the hotel is housed in the Nagoya Station Central Building it’s easy to do some shopping at JR Nagoya Takashimaya or Tokyu Hands, also housed here in the same building.

When staying at a hotel wouldn’t you like to get away from the daily norm? With easy access, luxurious rooms, and delicious local gourmet cuisine, the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel may be the perfect place to go to on your next trip.
