Individual chalets for two at great prices

Accessed from a narrow communal terrace, accommodation at Rabieng Nam is in delightful detached chalets. The chalets can sleep two guests, in a double bed, and cost around 650 THB (approximately 18.50 USD) for a night’s stay. Each has a private bathroom, a car-parking space at the front, and a small garden to the rear.

Spacious rooms with good amenities

The chalets at Rabieng Nam have a large main room, which is bright and airy thanks to the large windows and patio doors at the front and back. Pure white walls and high standards of cleanliness make the rooms very appealing, and, despite the large size, the air-conditioning keeps rooms as just the right temperature for optimal comfort.

Close the thick curtains and sink into the large soft bed to watch the wall-mounted television that is directly in front of the bed. Alternatively, you can sit at the desk and make use of the free Wi-Fi.

The bathrooms are large, with hot water showers, and a half-dividing wall between the shower area and the toilet / sink means that your towels and clothes don’t get wet when you do!

Other room facilities include a refrigerator, an open-fronted wardrobe, and a telephone.

Onsite restaurant and other facilities

You can dine in the open-air restaurant, enjoying the views and fresh air whilst you eat, or order meals and drinks to be brought direct to your room. There is a menu in the room, meaning that you don’t even have to wander outside if you don’t wish to – simply call through to reception from the in-room phone, place your order, and wait for it to be delivered.

The restaurant serves an assortment of Thai cuisine, including soups, rice dishes, omelettes, and noodle dishes.

There is a small but modern fitness centre at Rabieng Nam, with equipment such as exercise bikes, weights, treadmills, and cross trainers. Additional charges apply if you want to use the fitness centre. Open from 5 am to 9 pm, gym bunnies will have no problem getting their daily workouts completed.

Rabieng Nam has nice gardens with plenty of plants and flowers, and you’ll find many stone tables and seats scattered throughout the grounds. For more privacy, you can relax in your very own small garden to the rear of your room. High plants and trellises separate each small garden. Sit at the wooden table and chairs on your small patio and enjoy the views over the river.

For even more relaxation, head up onto the roof of your chalet; there are metal steps at the side of each chalet. There is a lovely roof terrace, complete with an inviting wicker hammock and a canopy for shade – it’s a fantastic place to take it easy and enjoy the peaceful environment.
