The closest station to Hyatt Regency Kyoto is Keihan Railway’s Shichijo Station. Kyoto Station is close too, so the hotel is located at a very convenient place. Nearby are many touristic spots like Sanjusangendo Temple known for the Tooshiya archery contest held on the Coming of Age Day, Kyoto National Museum with its new Heisei Chishinkan wing, and Chishakuin Temple where one can see pictures of the famous medieval painter Hasegawa Tohaku.

Also interesting are the Japanese playing cards which look like artistic design drawn on rough and black pottery. They impress even local guests.
