Spacious rooms

Courtyard Stafford Quantico offers four types of rooms. I had the pleasure of staying in the Guest Room with one king-sized bed and a sofa bed. Alternatively, you can opt for a Guest Room with two queen-sized beds, an Executive Suite with one king-sized bed and a sofa bed, or an Executive Suite with two queen-sized beds and a sofa bed. With all of these room choices you are sure to find one that suits your needs.

The Guest Room with king-sized bed and a sofa bed was comfortable and nicely designed with dark red, mustard yellow, and the classic white bedding and design elements. The bed was extremely comfortable, and most guests will appreciate that you can pivot the television to face the bed.

The room was bright, with natural light coming through from a large window. However, don’t worry about light affecting your sleep as there is a black-out curtain.

Great bathroom

The large bathroom has a marble countertop and the same color theme as the bedroom continues in the bathroom. The towels are plush, although I wish we were supplied with a few more (I was traveling with my husband and toddler). The hot water for the shower/bath was plentiful and quite relaxing after a long day of travel and/or work. The room is supplied with a generous amount of complimentary, high-end Paul Mitchell toiletries including a make-up remover towelette, body cream, body soap, shampoo, and more.

Great design in the lobby and tasty food

The lobby and restaurant are nicely designed with accents of green and black furniture and decorations. In addition to the hotel’s restaurant, you’ll find a convenient workstation with couches, desks, and computers available for guests use. Near this workstation area, you’ll find a large screen displaying an up-to-date weather forecast and other relevant information.

The Bistro, Courtyard Stafford Quantico’s lobby restaurant, serves healthy food including large salads and tasty sandwiches. All meals can be ordered downstairs and either enjoyed in the restaurant or packaged as takeaway to be enjoyed back in your room. We ordered a club sandwich and an Asian-inspired salad with chicken. Both meals tasted fresh and delicious. The restaurant offers numerous tables and there is enough space between the tables to prevent conversations from carrying.

Convenient workspace for freelancers

Courtyard Stafford Quantico markets itself to business travelers or freelancers with their fast, free Wi-Fi and excellent workstations. The large, dark wooden desk-cum-television stand had a pull-out section to create an additional workspace. Right at desk-level were sufficient outlets to plug in all necessary electronics, and the comfortable rolling chair was an excellent touch. The additional light on the desk is helpful if you are working late into the evenings.

If you don’t feel like working at the desk, you could easily take your work to the comfortable couch, which is also equipped with an additional light to make working more convenient.

Additionally, Courtyard Stafford Quantico has a conference room as well as a beautiful lobby, also equipped with workstations, which is mentioned above.
