All rooms in this hotel are very spacious and have standard amenities like a 46” HD LCD Cable TV, personal safe, a tea/coffee maker and a DVD player. There are double bed rooms, suites and executive rooms. The Executive Lounge is located on the 31st floor and the view of the Singapore skyline from here is simply mesmerising. Each room boasts of a very soft and comfortable bed and large windows that afford great views of the city skyline. Again, there are enough lamps to really brighten up the room. So other hotels can actually learn a thing or two from Conrad Centennial.

The Executive Floor has the high-priced executive rooms and the suites but the most popular is the 1-Bedroom President Suite. This luxurious 1-bedroom suite affords stunning views of the Marina Bay and you can also opt for a personalised butler service, if you so desire. There is a living room, a dining room, a pantry, a bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe and even a powder room!

The suites in this hotel provide HD TVs with home theater system, DVD player, coffee machine and chargeable WiFi. The bathrooms are very large and are fully marbled. It features a bathtub, a shower stall with glass panel and exclusive bathroom amenities. The only gripe is that there is no rain shower. The Conrad Centennial is definitely one of the few 5 star properties that do not provide a rain shower.

Though many travellers prefer the Executive Floor rooms for gaining access to the Executive Lounge, we suggest that you go for rooms that face the Marina Bay Sands or the Singapore Flyer. You can actually make a request at the time of reservation.

The Centennial Spa is located on the 4th floor where one can get massage treatments for relaxing tired muscles and rejuvenating senses. The fitness center remains open for 24 hours a day and there is also a tour desk, laundry services and an on-site gift shop.

Extensive dining options

The Golden Peony is an award-winning restaurant that is renowned for its authentic Cantonese and Dim Sum dishes. The restaurant also has a pretty extensive wine-list, which has been handpicked to complement the Cantonese dishes. In addition, groups who wish to have their own space would be happy to know that there is a private dining room, which can accommodate up to 10 guests.

The Oscar’s is open throughout the day and serves breakfast, all-day buffets and champagne lunches on Sundays. The buffet here is very impressive and is particularly known for the Caesar salad station, which is the largest you can get in Singapore. The noodle bar serves succulent dishes like prawn noodle soup and pork ribs broth.

The Lobby Lounge affords a more relaxed atmosphere where you can sip on the premium drinks and enjoy the Executive Lunch. The guests love coming here for the afternoon high tea and if you traveling with kids you must come here, as they have a wide variety of chocolate selection.

The Terrace is actually the ‘cake shop’ of the hotel and it specialises in healthy salads, cakes, pastries and artisan sandwiches.

The Executive Floor Lounge also provides for a breakfast spread in the morning but it is definitely not as grand as the one in the Oscar’s. Drinks are available 24/7 here and you can also get dollops of Haagen-Dazs ice-cream at night.

Surroundings of The Conrad Centennial Singapore

Singapore has lots of alluring attractions and there is a general belief that even a week’s stay is not enough here. Thankfully Conrad Centennial enjoys an excellent location, as some of the top attractions are within a short walking distance from the hotel.

The Fountain of Wealth, for instance, is less than 150m from the hotel. The hotel is actually facing this fountain. Located within Suntec City, it is one of the largest fountains in the world and people come here to visit the fountain for good luck. Other notable attractions in the vicinity of the hotel include the Esplanade – Theaters on the Bay and the Singapore Flyer, which is one of the largest observation wheels in the world.
