Located just one block from the beach, you will still be able to smell and hear the ocean from your room. If you want a break from the beach, head to the spa and swimming pool area, which is fully fenced in making it safer when traveling with children. In the summer months this makes it a perfect location to go for a stroll along the white sandy shore, or if it’s a little cooler then you can hop into the heated spa and swimming pool.
The pool area is small, and usually not very busy. Next to the pool is a games room with table tennis! The spa is also located in the same area, and, while on the small side, is great for relaxing in at the end of the day!
Once you’re all settled in make sure you grab some supplies and make use of the barbecue in the pool area too. Get there a bit before dinner (or 5 pm) to make sure it’s not already in use, but this is a great way to enjoy a favourite kiwi tradition, of grilling up a few sausages and steak cooked on the BBQ!

Because the Beach House Motel is located on Papamoa Beach Road you are right in the middle of the beach suburb. From here you can catch a bus in either direction to get to the shopping centres (Bayfair Shopping Mall or Papamoa Plaza). There is a bus stop conveniently located not far from the main entrance to the Papamoa Beach House Motel.
The beach, of course, is the star attraction of Papamoa and it is recommended that you take a picnic lunch and your swimming gear for a relaxing day out! If you’re lucky, you might just spot some of the wildlife that often visit this stretch of coast, including penguins and seals!
