Here is one place where you can be yourself without being judged by anyone. Blue Moon is a popular food and beverage destination located along the shore of Isshiki Beach. The place was constructed so customers can have a place to go to and express themselves. Once it opens its doors, it never runs out of customers. Another reason why this place is special is that the whole establishment is built using recycled material. Bamboo is used as the main structure giving it a rustic and relaxed vibe. Add all these to the music, food, and drinks and you have one unforgettable experience here at Blue Moon.

Sandwiched between Shiosai Park and the Museum of Modern Art, Shiosai Komichi is a small pathway that leads visitors to Isshiki Beach. But before you reach the shoreline, you will be lured to take out your camera and click away. This is one of Hayama’s most instagrammable spots and it sure is very pretty. There are pocket gardens along the way which will probably invite you to take a few minutes to take selfies and photos of your companions as well. 5. Shop for art at Moriyama Shrine
Moriyama Shrine is known as a place for worship and prayers. It is a landmark dedicated to the Shinto goddess Kushinadahime-no-Mikoto. However, the serenity of the shrine sits opposite to its rather busy surroundings. The reason for this is the presence of the open-air market where artists and sellers offer their works to art lovers and souvenir shoppers alike. These are not your ordinary artworks. These are all personally made and have an appeal that is distinct to the works of others. These are all displayed in unconfined stalls which make it easy for buyers to look at. 6. Take a selfie at Hayama Isshiki Post Office
If there is one underrated tourist spot that is fast gaining popularity near Isshiki Beach, this would be it. The building where the Hayama Isshiki Post Office is 30 years old. From the outside, it actually looks like a quaint and pretty café or restaurant with its cute little windows and beautiful façade. But it is what it is – a fully functioning post office! Visitors come over and stand on the staircase on the side of the building and covers all three floors to have their photos taken. Unassuming as it may seem, this is one of the more popular photo-op destinations in Hayama!

Isshiki Koisonohana has captured the hearts of many Japanese as this place has played important roles in some of the most famous television shows and movies in Japan. This place is perfect for you to let your children run all over while you watch over them sitting on the lovely rock formation. Gazing out into Sagami Bay is such a relaxing thing to do. 8. Witness the vast number of artworks at Hayama Modern Art Museum
The Hayama Hall of the Museum of Modern Art opened its doors in 2003 as a venue for artists to show their works. One of its distinct features is its ability to use natural light to highlight its exhibit halls. So many exhibitions are held here every year that you can just pop up anytime to view all these. Designed in a contemporary manner, the building itself is a work of art. The exhibitions are changed a number of times each year. One can see the works of both Japanese and international artists. These works include sculpture, photographs, paintings, and crafts. All in all, its inventory runs up to about 10,000 pieces of artwork.

9. Stroll inside Hayama Shiosai Park
Take a respite in one of Hayama’s most relaxing places as you stroll along the paths and greens of Shiosai Park. Located at the old site of the Imperial Villa, it is now the site of a marine life museum and a Japanese garden. Trees, plants, and flowers abound in this place and all these come in their colorful glory. A waterfall called Fumi Falls provides a refreshing site to all visitors here. 10. Meditate at Morito Shrine (Moritodaimyōjin)
The Morito Shrine stands close to the beach making it a beautiful place of worship. For visitors with tired souls, this place is perfect to spend some quiet moments and clear their minds. However, the most significant element of its vicinity is the red torii standing on a rock on the water. 12. Visit Hayama Lighthouse and the Red Torii on Najima Island
Najima Island is in one of the best locations in Sagami Bay. Although isolated, this island is visited by quite a number of visitors because of two reasons. First is the Hayama Lighthouse which stands tall and proud on the island. It is also called the Yujiro Lighthouse with reference to the famous actor Yujiro Ishihara, who until now has a strong following and fan base. The other feature is the red torii gate which symbolizes the presence of Shinto religion and faith in the island and the surrounding areas. 13. Tour the grounds of Hayama Imperial Villa
The Imperial Villa in Hayama is one of the most visited places in this city. This is where the imperial family spend their winter whenever it gets too cold up north. In 1894, the property came under the ownership of the Imperial Household Agency. Situated in the Miura Peninsula, the villa is surrounded by picturesque gardens with ponds and pathways that visitors can take while taking photos of this beauteous piece of land. 14. Watch the Hayama Kaigan Fireworks Festival

Block off this day on your calendars folks. July 25th, 2019 is the day that the Hayama Kaigan Fireworks Festival is going to blast off! Starting at 7:30 pm, organizers will launch around 1,200 fireworks into the air in time for Japan’s Hanabi Taikai or Fireworks Festival. The embankment of Isshiki Beach becomes a stage full of magical explosions. Although small in number compared to other fireworks festivals, the skies of Hayama becomes a screen filled with colors and glitter that will leave everyone in awe. Visitors who want to get the best view of the show are suggested to come early and find the best spot on the shore.

Hayama is a haven for great food. That includes international specialties like Italian cuisine. Here in the city, the best Italian food can be had at Villa Marea, a quaint Italian restaurant located in Isshiki. The place is known for its fresh pasta and Neapolitan style pizza. How to get to Hayama Isshiki Beach from Tokyo
From Tokyo, visitors to Hayama have to do is to take the JR Sobu Rapid Line to Zushi Station. There are buses outside the station that go to Hayama. Take one of these buses and go down at Isshokukaigan bus stop (sometimes spelled as Isshiki Kaigan). Isshiki Beach is just a three-minute walk from here.
Visitors traveling from the Tokyo wards of Ota, Shinagawa, and Minato can take the Keikyu Line to Zushi Station. Then take any of the buses heading to Hayama that are lined up outside the station. Go down at Isshokukaigan bus stop (also known as Isshiki Kaigan). Isshiki Beach is just a three-minute walk from here.
By car, take Yokohama-Yokosuka Road. Exit at Zushi toll gate. Turn left on Zushi-Hayama Road. Turn right at the traffic light at the end of the road. Isshiki Beach is about 300 meters (990 feet) away from here.
