Tip from Trip101 local expert
Bambolim also hosts the campus of Goa University and Goa Medical College, or GMC as the locals it. This locality is abuzz with college students. Bambolim Beach was one of my favourite spots to hang out after college classes with my friends.
I had the pleasure of attending a cousin's wedding at the Grand Hyatt, too. The wedding was Indian-style, and the entire outdoor location was decorated beautifully with lights and flowers, giving me the feeling that I was in a Bollywood movie. The food was delicious, and the sheer variety, ranging from vegetarian food options to multi-cuisine dishes, was impressive. Moreover, the ocean backdrop just made the entire event more stunning. I think this is one of the best destinations for luxury weddings in Goa.
