Spending wisely when you go to a holiday is a must especially if you have “battalions” of your family and relatives coming. Promotions for an accommodation is definitely a wonderful advantage when you are on a target budget. Ecovillage resort and convention offers these throughout the year, well suited for couples, families and even businessmen!
Secluded resort for the whole family
If you’re going with your friends or family, booking early is definitely a good idea. Hotels and Resorts tend to get expensive especially in peak season (November-May). Tourists who tend to have less number of people can get cheaper promotion in central part of the island. This is where the main sport activities happen such as scuba diving, sailing, banana boating and of course nightlife.
However for those people who will be going with their family on a holiday, a more secluded resort can be an excellent choice. Boracay Ecovillage is a Resort and Convention that offers various accommodation, swimming pool, indoor basketball court, function rooms, seminar rooms and even a semi-private beach shared between the prestigious Shangri-la Resort. They offer promotions throughout the year, great opportunity for families.
Make use of available transport services up the hill
Once you arrived and checked-in at their reception, the first thing you will notice is how tranquil and quiet the place is and the staffs greet you with smile. The very unique feature of their lobby is that it is open almost blending into its surrounding. The Resort is divided into two zones, one is below of the mountain (zone B) and on top of the mountain (zone A). They have amazing van services which allow you to be taken on top without hassle.
Enjoy Ecovillage’s spectacular view of the ocean and luscious greeneries
The rooms have the essential, as any typical hotel would intend. However, due to its location, you get to enjoy a combination of luscious tropical greens and blue landscapes in the balcony – refreshing! Most rooms in zone A are fit for families of 8. It has luxurious bathrooms and four main beds with another four underneath. Air-condition is also available in this hot tropical climate: don’t worry about sweating!
Relax in Boracay’s Puka beach
Another perk of this included within your stay is they can take you to one of their famous beach and enjoy the water, sand and of course their shaded hammocks. Local vendors offer you refreshing drinks such as coconut juice straight from their shells or even homemade necklaces and bracelets of colourful shells. Unlike the central, the number of people here in Puka beach is less, giving you the time to chill and relax.
Experience local Filipino’s tricycle
Ecovillage is located in Station 5 in the island of Boracay. It is a 10-15 minutes away from the centre. The resort provide scheduled transport from the resort to the centre, however if missed there are alternatives in terms of travelling around. The government only allow certain type of transportation in the island and most of the time tourists as well as locals used public transports called tricycles. It is a motorbike attached to a side-car, which is accessible wherever you are in the island. I recommend you to try this as it is very convenient and it can fit a whole family in one bumpy ride!
Be ready for fire dancing locals!
Station 2, located in the very centre of the beach is an excellent place for bars and restaurants which offers you fantastic experience at night.
Experiencing the nightlife of Boracay gives you more than you could ask for. You will walk into a sand path of the beach that is full of energy on both sides. Each restaurants and bars gives you authentic features to make them stand out from other competitors. It could go from a restaurant with group of synchronised dancing chefs, performances of reggae bands/singers on stage and my favourite, locals who dance with fire.
Live the island experience
Boracay is a lively place and I would be honoured to visit there again. People from the Philippines welcome you with warm hug and a big smile. The Island will guaranteed you an experience you will never forget. The locals will treat you like their own brothers and sisters.
