Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay is located near the popular Shiki Theater. It’s directly connected to Yurikamome line’s Takeshiba Station. At “Blue Veranda” restaurant on the first floor you can have a buffet style lunch with over 40 dishes made of seasonal products. On weekdays it costs less than 2000 JPY! This is a great opportunity to spend some luxurious time at an affordable price. Watch some of Shiki Theater’s musicals like “Lion King” and then go to the restaurant for lunch!

On the photo you see the main dish. It can be made with roast beef or chicken depending on the day. The chef gently cuts the pieces of meat one by one.

You’ll be surprised at how soft and juicy the meat is. It’s also sweet and not greasy at all. You’ll be really delighted by the taste.

Shiki Theater is right next to the hotel

The popular musical “Lion King” has been played at Shiki Theater since December 1998. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to buy tickets as this is the most visited spectacle.

InterContinental Tokyo Bay Hotel is just 1 kilometer away from Shiki Theater which makes it a great place to visit for a rest after you watch the show.

At InterContinental Tokyo Bay Hotel you can enjoy the night view of Rainbow Bridge. In summer you can even watch Tokyo Bay’s Fireworks Festival from your room!

This hotel is definitely worth staying at! And you can always go down to “Blue Veranda” restaurant whenever you feel like savoring something delicious.

Tokyo's best buffet style restaurant in terms of taste, price and atmosphere!

“Blue Veranda” is a marine terrace designed predominantly in blue color. It looks clean, bright and has a very relaxing atmosphere.

There are over 40 dishes, from appetizers to desserts. Besides the main dish with roast beef you can find many Asian dishes, including the rare and delicious Thai soup “tom yum goong”.

Lunch costs less than 2000 JPY per person on a weekday. I’ve been to several buffet style restaurants in various Tokyo hotels, but this one wins in terms of taste, price and atmosphere.

A rich selection of sweets! Don't overeat

There is a very big selection of desserts, all of which are delicious. You’ll want to try many of them and might even overeat without noticing it! If you make a reservation for a birthday party, they’ll even serve a free birthday cake with candles!

Conclusion

This is a great present for special people on special days. It’s also a good place to visit after watching the musicals at Shiki Theater. Eating affordable lunch at a top-class hotel will definitely make you feel like you’re living a luxurious life.
