Narita, Japan’s window to the world. There are many hotels around Narita Airport, but there are only a couple select ones that have a Japanese garden or a large bath. One of those is the Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu. From Narita Airport it is only a 15 minute free, ride on the Limousine bus. With a Japanese modern service you are guaranteed comfort. We introduce this popular hotel today to not only those using the airport but those who want to enjoy a comfortable hotel lifestyle.

When you enter the Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu, the vast lobby fills your view. This lobby was redone in 2012 to have a mature relaxed feel, the Japanese style tapestry is stylishly hung here. It is a perfect fit for the image of Narita being the front door to Japan!

Pictured above is the glass walled hallway from the lobby where you can view the Japanese garde. It is narrow but with its Karesansui style and attention to detail you can tell they maintain it with utmost care.

Cozy guest rooms

Each room is very comfortable here. The image is of the standard twin room. This room has a view of the airport. Even for those who aren’t plane fanatics can enjoy watching the sky as the planes land and take off. Most of us with our busy day to day lives rarely just take time to sit and stare at the sky anymore, but here at the Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu you relearn to just take your time and watch the sky as the planes go by. Watching the planes makes you feel like you’re already overseas.

At night the lights from the planes flying at night is super romantic so don’t miss that either.

The restaurant Gardenia's hospitality

The chef at the restaurant in Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu, actually contact farmers directly and scrutinize everything they purchase thoroughly before serving. Because of this they serve some of the freshest, safest, and tastiest ingredients around. Pictured is from the Gardenia’s buffet where you can choose from the various items and eat as much as you want of what you prefer the most.

It seems because they are confident in their ingredients they are uber confident about their meals, with each one showing the details of each item. Because each item is easy to understand, you can pick what you prefer easily.

From the restaurant you can see the Japanese garden on the floor below. What does that look like you ask?

The entrance to the Japanese garden, which you can see from the first floor restaurant Gardenia, is at the lobby on the floor below. The lobby walls are all glass allowing you into a world of pine trees and lanterns in the Japanese garden. You can go out into the garden from the glass door, so check it out. In the pond there are Nishikigoi koi fish, and the garden is built like a small hill so you feel like you are doing a small hike. This garden has a different face every season, so you can enjoy the beauty of Japan in a mini version. There are many people taking pictures as this garden is popular among Japanese and foreigners alike. This is a great representation of “The Japan”, a taste of Japan when you first get here and one before you leave. No doubt the beauty of Japan from this garden is left lingering in the memories long after leaving.

Relax Japanese style in the pool or the big bath! Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu

On the underground floors of this hotel there is the indoor pool, big communal bath, and the sauna. The pool area is actually encased in glass so lots of ample sunlight comes in to give a very resort feel. It is an indoor pool so you can use it any time of year which is great. Its hours are between 8am and 10pm with last entry at 9:30pm, and free for guest staying at the hotel.

The large bath and sauna is where you can sweat out all the fatigue in your body. Open from 3pm to 11pm with last entry at 10:30pm you can bath pretty late into the night which is convenient. For guests staying it is 540 JPY to enter. Although staying in the hotel room is fine, really stretching out in the huge bath is easily done and a must visit for those who love bathhouses. Taking away the fatigue of travel or daily life it is one of the best ways to relax that is distinctly Japanese.

Choose the Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu for its Japanese hospitality and easy access!

The concept at the Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu is “provide a cozy time for the guests”. To get to Narita Airport from here is only a quick 15 minute free bus ride, and starts early at 5am for the discount flyers! They also provide transportation to Narita Keisei Station so getting on the train is an ease too. You can use The Access Narita bus which started in January of 2013 for a direct bus ride of 70 minutes from Tokyo station’s Yaesu exit. By car take the Higashi Kanto Jidoshado and take the Narita IC and its only 3 minutes from there, making it the very first hotel in Narita to stay at.
