Whether you are travelling solo, as part of a couple, or with a group of mates, you are sure to find a room option that meets your requirements. Although there are only a few rooms in total, offering a peaceful atmosphere that is ideal for restful relaxation, guests can choose between Standard Rooms and beautiful Batak Houses. The Batak Houses have two levels and are able to accommodate up to four guests.

Amazingly low prices to make you smile

The Standard Rooms have cold water showers and are 40,000 IDR per night (approximately 3 USD) per night. A Batak House with hot water costs just 50,000 IDR per night (approximately 3.70 USD). Both of these options face into the lush and colourful gardens. If you want a lake view, you can also stay in a lovely Batak House, complete with hot water, for between 55,000 IDR (approximately 4 USD) and 70,000 IDR (approximately 5 USD) per night, depending on occupancy and size of house.

Basic yet comfortable room facilities

Wooden interiors add to the rustic appeal of the rooms. Whilst furnishings are at a minimum, the great low prices and high standards of cleanliness more than make up for the lack of items that, realistically, you probably don’t need anyway! Some rooms have a sturdy wooden bench where you can sit and relax or keep your bags off the floor.

Mosquito nets are provided, helping you to sleep with ease. It also means that you can let the windows fly open at night time if you wish, drifting off to sleep to the sounds of crickets clacking their knees and other insects humming and buzzing in the trees.

The beds consist of roll-out mattresses placed directly on the floor. They are surprisingly comfortable, with plump pillows sweet-smelling linen, helping you to sleep like a baby.

The split-level nature of the houses means that you can still enjoy an element of privacy when you sleep.

Bicycles are available to hire and you can spend many pleasant hours admiring the dense and leafy gardens. Interesting fruits and flowers add plenty of colour, also attracting an abundance of insects and butterflies.
