Apartment & Rooms Krivokapic is in a great location

Apartment & Rooms Krivokapic is located in Skaljari, a settlement that merged with Kotor and became Kotor itself. This 4-star accommodation is located on the hill facing Old Town Kotor, and offers great, if not the very best, panoramic views of Boka Bay. On sunny days you can observe various vessels docking into the harbour, the Old Town and advanced fortifications above it, topped by St. Ivan’s Fortress. And when the sun sets, the illuminated Kotor becomes a resplendent site, with lights reflecting on the water surface.

The centre of Kotor can be easily reached in 20 minutes on foot from the accommodation, but if you prefer a bus ride over stretching your legs, the bus stop can be found in front of the accommodation (approximate fare is 0.70 EUR – 0.80 USD). The nearest store is 5 minutes away, and main bus station, with intercity departures, is about a 10 minute walk away.

The accommodation

The Krivokapic family owns apartments and studios, and we were in a studio with a bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. The accommodation units are either new or recently renovated, sound insulated and highly functional. We were there in January, and the studio was quickly warmed up with the efficient heating system, and I’m sure that it is as easily cooled down during the summer. The bathroom is separately heated.

Each studio is equipped with a kitchenette with all necessary utensils included – refrigerator, water heater, stovetop, cups and glasses, plates, cutlery and more. The large bed is very comfortable, and the cable TV features a myriad of channels in English. It’s only up to you and your better half whether you’ll listen to music on VH1, watch history on the History Channel or some other option. A large closet with drawers is big enough to arrange your stuff for a short or long stay.

Studios are equipped with air-conditioners, and free Wi-Fi is also at your disposal. The bathroom is fully equipped with a hair dryer, shampoo, soaps and towels.

The Krivokapics are very kind and pleasant people, and any help you might need they are willing to provide. Be it an umbrella or any complementary item you might need in your apartment or studio, all you need to do is ask, and they’ll secure it for you, if possible.

When we checked-in, we were pleasantly surprised with the oranges from their garden and a box of chocolate, even with a cider in our refrigerator. They will also offer you fine tips on how best to enjoy your Kotor and Boka Bay experiences.
