Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival is hosted by the City of Myrtle Beach and celebrates the many local seafood restaurants along the Grand Strand. The festival is held over two days during November at Burroughs & Chappin Pavilion Place, on downtown Myrtle Beach. Besides all the delicious seafood on offer, kids can have fun at a huge kids’ zone with carnival games, bouncy castles, slides and other fun activities, including face painting and a rock-climbing wall.

Water Lantern Festival in Myrtle Beach is a fun family-friendly event where everyone gets together in a peaceful atmosphere. People from all walks of life, whether rich or poor, unite for the event. Included with your ticket is a floating lantern, ready to launch on the water, along with a commemorative drawstring bag and a marker for decorating the lantern. Each visitor will also receive a wristband to give them entry into the festival. It should be noted that all lanterns used in the festival are 100 percent eco-friendly, crafted from wood and rice paper, and all will be cleaned up after the event to avoid pollution.

Sun Fun Festival has been a Myrtle Beach tradition since 1951 and serves to mark the start of the summer season in the resort city. The 65th Sun Fun Festival is scheduled to be held in May. The event begins with the Sun Fun Parade on Saturday morning. While details have yet to be announced, the festival includes the parade, a funfair with a Ferris wheel and other fun rides and various music events.
