The variety of the rooms start from private rooms for single or group travelers to dorm rooms, and all have the option of private or shared bathrooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the same thing can also be said for the bathrooms. The prices for a bed or room range from the average of 9000 CLP (approximately 13 USD) to 60000 CLP (approximately 90 USD); rooms with a higher price are usually available for group travelers.

The hostel offers breakfast every morning between 7-10 AM (8-10 AM on Sundays) that includes cereal, bread, milk, tea, juice, etc. Aside from all of the above, the hostel also offers complimentary international calls (ask reception for which countries are included).

Aside from the hostel services, Hostal Providencia offers many outdoor activities and tours. The staff will give you many tips on what to do in Santiago and even better, they organize nightly activities with the special Chilean drink ‘Terremoto’, burgers, pizzas, Open Microphone (singing and playing instruments), wine tasting, and many more.
