The Forest of Dean is located near Gloucestershire, in the United Kingdom. It’s in a triangular plateau bounded by the Rivers Wye and Severn, and Herefordshire. It has quite the rich history as it was first inhabited in the Mesolithic times, and has signs of early sea trading. It was also occupied by the Romans, and then later by the Tudor Dynasty as a royal hunting ground. The forest contains a variety of deciduous and evergreen trees, and it is home to the wild boar. The Forest of Dean has also been mentioned in various works of fiction, such as Doctor Who and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Keep reading to find out about the glamping options in this area!

We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) host status, recent guest reviews, prices, availability of dates, decor, and a location that facilitates glamping or is close to glamping spots.
