America’s topographically blessed Northern California (NorCal) is ideal for glamping. Besides the timeless Golden Gate Bridge, the state is equally famous for its gorgeous coastlines fronting the Pacific Ocean and unique redwood forests. This fertile region is also home to bountiful vineyards (Napa Valley, in particular) and majestic natural landscapes - Yosemite National Park, Marine Headlands, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, to name a few. Winter suits NorCal well, too, as it boasts lakes (e.g., Lake Tahoe) and alps (e.g., Mt. Shasta). In 2018, the state received over 50 million visitors. If you are overwhelmed with options, we prepared a list of top glamping spots in Northern California for you. Read on.

We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) Superhost status. recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and amenities. The image galleries get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on November 25, 2023.
