Isaribikan is also among the numerous hotels that you can enjoy Yunokawa Onsen from. It is just a 15-minute drive from Hakodate Station and there is also a shuttle bus available from Hakodate Airport, making Isaribikan a very convenient hotel.

Isaribikan features lots of wood in its designs, giving it a calm and relaxing atmosphere. There are both Japanese-style rooms and Western-style rooms available in Isaribikan, which provide great views of the Tsugaru Straits or Mount Hakodate. The sunset view of the Tsugaru Straits is amazing! From June to December, you can also get to see the isaribi (light fishermen use to attract fish) along the ocean. An open-air onsen is also available.

Breakfast is served within the hotel. If you visit Isaribikan from June to December, you will be able to enjoy the famous squids, which are all freshly caught from the ocean. Many other seafood dishes, such as scallops, can be enjoyed too!

Rooms in Hakodate Kokusai Hotel are mostly in a Western-style, although there are several Japanese-Western hybrid rooms available. Not all rooms provide an ocean view, hence you will have to take note when reserving your room. If you are interested in an ocean view, it is recommended that you choose the rooms in the western tower.

Hakodate Kokusai Hotel’s breakfast is served at the hotel’s restaurant from as early as 6:30.
