Hotels & Airbnb Vacation Rentals In Charleston, South Carolina, USA

The city of Charleston, South Carolina was founded in 1670 and still contains some of its original cobblestone streets for its visitors to walk on. The Morris Island Lighthouse is on the coast of the state. It is a Civil War era lighthouse that was used to let sailors know where the land was. Only accessible by boat, this lighthouse has tours for guests to see the interior. The Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site is the area where the town was first discovered and did a lot of its shipping. The Angel Oak Tree is a landmark that shouldn’t be missed. This tree is just over 60 feet tall with a wide canopy of leaves over top. It’s a beautiful place for a picnic and some relaxation. For a beach trip, try Kiawah Beachwalker Park. This is a smaller beach that is well-kept and there are lifeguards here for those who are concerned with safety.
