State College is full of great places to stay and fun things to do. Penn State University hosts a lot of different events that are not restricted to students only. For instance. there are always sporting events like football and soccer games. There is also Bryce Jordan Center, a basketball court just outside the university grounds. It is also the arena where live music events and commencement ceremonies take place. While on campus, be sure to check out Old Main. It’s the oldest building on campus, built in 1867, and was remodeled in 1930. For a performance of ballet, visitors can look into the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State. Outside of campus grounds, visitors with children can look into Discovery Place. It is an interactive museum for kids with 45 different exhibits to help kids learn the mechanism of different products.
