Seriously, what’s better than an ultra helpful staff AND gorgeous rooms?! Malom Club has a Superb rating of 9.2. From your comfortable room, you can then make way to several interesting landmarks in Baja: the Sugovica River and Mediterrán Bár to take a load off for a bit, CBA üzlet (supermarket) to stock up on your essentials. Also notable to mention, the reception speaks English, German, and Hungarian. Főtér Panzió is, as one guest put it, “extra kind staff and perfect location.” Perfect!

Kisviza Vendégház has a lovely tennis court and an on-site restaurant, so if jet lag is getting you down, you won’t have to go too far to eat. You can also hit up the nearby beach.

Extra pros? Kisviza Vendégház is peaceful and quiet, very spacious and offers beautiful views of the Danube River. While they don’t offer breakfast, the very hospitable reception will be able to give helpful suggestions to point you where to find good eats!

Rated for the best value in Baja, Gimi Panzio is not exactly the epitome of typical white-walled and personality-less hotel rooms. Looking more like a cozy room of a friend’s, it also offers a bar with a terrace (so maybe a pal wouldn’t have that at their place), as well as free WiFi and parking space. A bus stop and Baja train station, are a 5-minute walk away. The staff speaks Italian, German, English and Hungarian. Getting high rates across the board, from cleanliness, location, value for money, comfort, and staff, makes this an 8.7 on Booking.com.
