The Koh Chang Orchid Resort & Spa offers various room types - Superior Orchid, Deluxe Orchid, Grand Orchid, and, for those celebrating an extra-special occasion, the opulent Honeymoon Suite. There are also family rooms available, sleeping four or six guests. There are 65 enchanting rooms in total.

Each room type boasts exquisite furnishings and decorative objects, such as carved mirrors, eye-catching artwork, and colourful cushions and bed throws.

Prices range between 2,500 THB (approximately 70 USD) per night and 7,000 THB (approximately 195 USD) for a night’s stay.

Excellent room facilities and amenities

Besides an incredibly comfortable bed with super soft pillows, striking woodwork and artistic features, ample storage space, cable TV, a telephone, and a refrigerator with complimentary drinking water, many of the rooms also have beautiful open-air bathrooms. Don’t worry – nobody can see you!

The large bathrooms feature a hot water shower and a selection of essential mini toiletries. High walls keep your modesty intact whilst the roof ensures that you are protected from the sun and rain. There is, however, a large space between the walls and the roof, giving you the sensation of showering and getting ready in the open air. Large leafy plants complete the natural feeling. The spacious bathrooms are very novel, but the open nature can lead to unwelcome bugs coming inside – make sure you keep the connecting door to the bedroom firmly closed to prevent them from sneaking into your sleeping area!

Each room has its own private outdoor seating area, perfect for a relaxing evening drink or a morning pick-me-up coffee.

Inclusive breakfast and onsite restaurant

A delicious buffet breakfast is included each morning, with a selection of juicy fruits, hot and cold drinks, an assortment of breads, eggs prepared in different ways, crisp and crunchy salad, and traditional Thai fare such as Khao Tom (a porridge-like rice soup).

The open-sided restaurant also serves a good selection of Thai and international dishes throughout the day, as well as a wide assortment of refreshing beverages. The iced coffee is highly recommended, especially if you are recovering from a night out on the town! You’ll notice that the orchid theme even continues in the restaurant, with pretty flowers used to garnish dishes and add splashes of colour to drinks.

If you want a little more privacy you can also have your meals served in your room.

Other resort facilities for a terrific and memorable stay

A variety of soothing treatments are available at the elegant and enticing spa. Let the professional masseurs work their magic with a range of aromatic oils, get limber with a lively Thai massage, relax with a head massage, de-stress with a reflexology foot massage … and more. You might even want to hop in the sauna for a while.

There are two clean swimming pools, ideal for cooling down during the heat of the day or taking a refreshing dip at the end of an action-packed day of activities. Poolside seating is available if you fancy spending a fair bit of time around the pool.

The beautiful grounds are great for a wander; inhale the scents of orchids and feel at one with nature as you follow the winding trails through the trees, bushes, and flowers.

Because the resort is around a ten to fifteen minute drive to the closest beach, there are free shuttle services to White Sand Beach at various times throughout the day. The first leaves at around 9.00am and the last one returns at around 9.00pm.

Members of staff can assist with booking a selection of tours, including boat trips and island discovery tours. You can also arrange scooter hire with reception staff to provide greater freedom and independence when enjoying the island’s diverse attractions and activities.

Complimentary Wi-Fi can be accessed from public areas and there are also computers that guests can use.
