Boot House

Popularly known to the local people as the old woman’s shoes, Boot House is perhaps the most popular sight in the park. The unique structure of the building that displays the shape of both a boot and a house was inspired by an old story that once there was a woman who resided inside a shoe. You are welcome to enter the boot house and climb to the very top, where you will reach the balcony. From here, you can enjoy the idyllic views of everything that is close by.

Pramod Navalkar Viewing Gallery

If you want to admire the whole view of South Mumbai, you would not want to miss a visit to a viewing gallery called Pramod Navalkar, which is situated opposite the west gate of the popular hanging gardens. Some of the most favorite views that you can marvel at are Marine Drive, Nariman Point and Queen’s Necklace of Mumbai.

A wide collection of flowers, trees and shrubs

Your eyes, mind and soul will be treated to the delightful views of colorful flowers, nature and shady trees and shrubs on perfectly maintained lawns. There are also picnic spots around the park. Be ready to bring your food and relish it under a shady tree.

Malabar Hill

Since you are already visiting the park which sits on the top of Malabar Hill, you should also visit the hillside, where you will be presented with lush green surroundings. Here, you will also have an opportunity to try the authentic Mumbai dishes as plenty of local vendors gather here.

The Viewpoint

You get the best of both worlds when you stop by The Viewpoint. When you look at one side, you can marvel at the spectacular Marine Drive. When you turn around and look at the other side, the breathtaking beauty of Chowpatty beach awaits your embrace.
