The Dream Castle Hotel, conveniently located in the vicinity of the European most visited adult and children oriented attraction – Disneyland Paris - meets every prerequisite an ideal base for the Paris experience should fulfil. The hotel is simultaneously an oasis of tranquility, fun zone, business and recreational centre. The Dream Castle Hotel is owned by Vienna International Hotels and Resorts, and is situated next to a small lake, with greenery and beautifully maintained lawns, garden and children’s playgrounds.

An exceptional and welcoming atmosphere is noticeable as soon as the threshold of the hotel is passed. Costumed characters from a fairy tale bid welcome to the newly arrived guests, and, if you are lucky, even a live performance conducted by staff members can accompany you while checking in. Other interesting features of the lobby are heraldic symbols, the knight’s armour, the king’s and queen’s thrones, a boutique, etc. A giant iPod enables guests to observe the weather forecast, familiarize with potential places of interest in the proximate region and Paris, send an e-postcard, and much more. Additionally, there are various playgrounds for the youngest: merry-go-round, house with balls, pinballs, etc.

The accommodation, business and relaxing facilities are carefully separated from the Dream Castle Hotel’s bustling areas. Accommodation units range from double rooms to royal apartments, featuring comfortable, imaginative (children’s beds designed as coaches) and stylish furnishings, soft colours and utmost silence, providing an environment for the guests to afford a peaceful rest or get the job done.

Each accommodation unit features natural illumination by means of large windows, free Wi-Fi (disposable throughout the hotel), large TV screens with plenty of channels, large closets, L'Occitane cosmetics, the safe, well-illuminated bathrooms with large mirrors, and much more.

There are several types of relaxation facilities – swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, fitness, beauty and massage centers. Rejuvenating treatments in the massage centre and in hot tub are especially relaxing and enjoyable, to put it mildly, and put any type of pain out of your body and mind. The ambiance of the combined adult and children’s swimming pools is quite attractive. If your goal, however, is to swim actively, you should head to the Magic Circus Hotel (the neighbouring hotel a few dozens of meters away, also owned by Vienna International) whose swimming pool is much larger. The gaming zone with video games is also available.

Staff members are attentive, forthcoming and highly efficient, swiftly meeting demands that might arise. If you are having difficulties with the French, the employees speak English, German, Spanish and Italian. The staff is easily recognized by means of their distinctive uniforms.

Breakfasts are served in the Sans Souci Restaurant, based on the self-service concept, while a relaxing dinner can be enjoyed in the neighbouring Musketeer’s Restaurant. A myriad of dishes is nicely arranged and especially delicious.

The cosy Excalibur Bar is a great spot for tasting worldwide famous whiskeys, beers and various beverages in general, catching up with significant sport events, enjoying pleasant music or reading a book from the bar’s extensive collection. During the summertime, the Excalibur Bar is expanded to the adjacent terrace, which overlooks the garden.

Various facilities and options for business travelers’ needs

various facilities and options for business travelers’ needs

Business travellers will find congress centre and facilities for smaller and bigger meetings quite satisfying. Those are conveniently named after Cardinal Richelieu and each of the musketeers (in the spirit of the hotel’s mood and ambiance), and dispose of modern audio/video and presentation equipments, perfect sound isolation from the outer world, and excellent natural and artificial lighting. Business facilities can accommodate from a few dozen up to a few hundred participants.

However, if the group is not that large, and if the meeting could afford a more relaxed approach, perhaps a different type of facility should be considered and the staff teams can adapt to what’s important for you.

Places easily accessible from the hotel

places easily accessible from the hotel

The Dream Castle Hotel is located to the east of Paris, and can be reached by car in a half an hour. In order to dodge a prolonged ride, try to avoid peak hours. The hotel disposes of the large parking area, which is free. Additional connection with Paris is provided through RER (the express rail), which operates between the Paris’s Gare de Lyon and the Disneyland (between 30 and 40 minutes ride). Fares range between 4 EUR (4.50 USD) and 7.60 EUR (8.50 USD), depending on the age, while city passes are also accepted. The amusement park can be reached from the hotel through free shuttle bus, number 54, within minutes.

Other notable places easily accessible from the hotel are the chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte, Meaux commune with its extraordinary museum dedicated to the Great War (the First World War) and Provins, a medieval town with a castle, corresponding architecture and diverse medieval performances, especially during the spring/summer season.

Depending on the accommodation unit type, the prices tend to vary, and generally are above 100 EUR (110 USD) per person, including breakfast; however, the Dream Castle Hotel offers special promotions quite often, especially out of a peak season, when prices tend to be lowered significantly, up to 50%. Check out the hotel’s official website for an excellent deal.

Features that make the Dream Castle Hotel a great choice

The Dream Castle Hotel is an excellent choice for any traveller. An excellent location, splendid environment that perfectly fits its castle-like appearance and ambiance, numerous complementing first-class facilities and pleasant atmosphere are its ever-present assets. Especially engaging it proves to be for families with small children and teenagers, daydreaming about beautiful princesses, romantic knights, heroic duels, and such. However, if you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil environment, away from the hustle and bustle, you will also find the Dream Castle Hotel a perfectly convenient establishment, which offers the best value/money ratio in the area.
