Maximum Comfort within a Space
BIG Hotel has a range of rooms that guests can choose from according to their needs, though all provide and guarantee maximum comfort. The Superior, Deluxe and Executive rooms have the same room layout with varying size from 13.3sqm up to 16sqm. The Superior rooms are made especially for solo travellers or even couples looking for a cosy setting complete with a full bath and shower and a table to write on. The Deluxe and Executive rooms are for those who would prefer having a bigger room space. BIG Hotel invests particularly on their beds with high thread count linens and the most comfortable bed, which shall be the highlight of your stay. BIG Hotel has two types of suites – Bigstar suite at 27.3sqm and Bigshot suite at 47sqm inclusive of a balcony. The two suite has the same exact room layout except that the Bigstar suite does not come with a balcony. The room space is large with the bed elevated by a handmade wooden platform. Again, the rooms have the same minimalistic concept, which is the theme adopted by BIG Hotel.
More than Just a Room
One of the highlights of staying at BIG Hotel is the in-house services that the hotel provides. BIG Hotel is a firm believer of providing free movies-on-demand, claiming that it makes no sense for guests to be charged for this service. So if you plan on staying in your hotel room and watch movies all day, BIG Hotel has got it covered.
The Nexus 7 available in every room is the universal controller for the entire room. No more getting up from your bed just to switch off the toilet lights you left on. Tipple, located on the first level of BIG Hotel, is a wine and whisky bar. Again, BIG Hotel has managed to reenact the home atmosphere in the bar with comfortable sofa-like chairs and cushion couches. The bar has a great ambience with bright lights and white walls that makes the place look even bigger. Tipple offers a large variety of drinks from wines, whisky, beer, cocktails, cider and even sake. They even have a tapas menu consisting of pizzas, black truffle chips and cold cut platter. Guests are welcome to chill here till 1am.
Working It Out at the Gym
Guests can now continue their regular workout at the BIG Hotel gym located on level one of the hotel. Though the gym space is small, BIG Hotel has cleverly placed the equipment so to have a variety of workout stations. The gym includes treadmills, bicycles, weight lifting equipment and many more.
Enjoy Froth’s Decadent Meals
Froth serves guests with buffet breakfast from 7:00am to 10:30am daily at a separate price. Guests can find typical breakfast dishes like eggs, cereals, fruits and breads. Froth is popular for their unique lunch and dinner menu, which is a fusion of Italian and Asian cuisines. For instance, they have Chilli Crab Spaghetti; Chilli Crab being one of Singapore’s national dish, Siobak Aglio Olio; Roasted pork belly with homemade Bak Kwa; a delicious slice dried meat grilled over charcoal. Froth has managed to merge Italian and Asian cuisines that works so well together. They also have regular dishes like club sandwiches, fish and chips, truffle fries and bacon chowder.
