The MUJI company is synonymous to high quality yet unbranded clothing, personal health and hygiene products, stationery, electronics, textile, storage facilities, home décor, dining and kitchenware, home scents, and fashion accessories. The company opened in 1980 and gave customers the option of purchasing high-quality products at very low prices. In line with this, the company is putting the same ‘no-brand’ and ‘anti-cheap, anti-gorgeous’ principle in MUJI Hotel Ginza, its first hotel venture in Japan. The design of the hotel is built around ‘kinobi’, a word that describes how function and beauty come together. The simplicity of the hotel’s interiors reflects the minimalist personification of the company. Humble yet beautiful, the hotel covers the top five floors of the ten-level building. The design comprises a harmonious marriage of natural elements like stones, cloth, soil, and wood. With all these, a restful stay awaits you here at MUJI Ginza Hotel.

MUJI Ginza Hotel is located on the 6th floor of 3 Chome-3-5, Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Being right in the middle of this glitzy district, the hotel offers an interesting alternative to that of high-end luxury accommodation known to dot these streets. The design and architectural aspect of the hotel can and will certainly compete against these branded hotels. The difference is in the price. Here is where the location becomes an advantage. It gives guests a lot more to rave about than a regular three-star hotel without paying a premium price. This best reflects the company’s identity of paying for the best without the high-end prices. With the hotel, the company applies the practical approach of giving its market the best accommodation while saving on precious cash. This is probably the only hotel located in Ginza that has beautiful, functional, and relaxing accommodations without being excessive.
