Hall of Chihuly glass

Although this museum offers an elaborate permanent collection of European and American art, the big lure is the biggest and most extensive collection of Dale Chihuly glasswork in the world! 30 years’ worth of Chihuly’s fantastic glass art can be found here. You can’t miss the amazing eye-catching 55-foot (16.8-meter) glass tower in the museum’s atrium. It’s the go-to place for an Instagram-worthy selfie with the perfect backdrop!

Dinner and a movie

The renowned Noble Theater is an excellent venue for a movie-going experience. This theater screens engrossing international, independent, documentary, and classic films. The museum offers a great dinner and a movie event and filmgoers can enjoy 20% offof purchase in the Museum Cafe on the night of their chosen film. Be aware, buying a movie ticket does not include entry to the museum exhibits.

Rooftop terrace

Wheelchair accessible

This attraction has wheelchair accessibility at every entrance and public spaces are expansive so it’s easy to maneuver a wheelchair throughout the museum. Wheelchair-bound visitors can find an access ramp near the admissions desk and elevators are located on every level. Power-assisted doors are found on the west side of the museum’s main entrance and the east side of the theater entrance. Wheelchairs and walkers are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Picture taking

Guests can snap photos in the museum but selfie sticks and flash photography are discouraged.

Family-friendly environment

The museum makes available baby strollers, and kids will be thrilled to receive sketch pads and an engaging and complimentary Discovery Pack for children ages 2 and up. These activity packs even accommodate children with special needs.

Rent a car

For tourists who want to drive to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the attraction is situated along Couch Drive in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City.

Public transportation

The snazzy Oklahoma City Streetcar allows tourists to easily see sights throughout the city. Comprised of several stations, day passes are available at each platform for 3 USD or single-use tickets can be had for 1 USD. To get to the museum, head to The Business District Platforms and hop on the Number 7 streetcar. You could also catch the Oklahoma City Downtown Discovery bus for free rides to and from destinations in the downtown Oklahoma City area, which includes a stop near the museum. Every bus provides an expert wheelchair ramp, comfy padded seats, handy bike racks, and cool air conditioning.

Taxi

An easy way to get there is by waving down a taxi or arranging for a pickup.

Uber/Lyft

App-savvy tourists can opt to use Uber or Lyft to book a stress-free ride.

Parking information

North of the museum - at the corner of Robert S. Kerr and Hudson streets - is the Progressive Parking Lot and their rates are from 6 USD for one hour, 8 USD for two hours, and 10 USD for all day. Just one block south of the museum is the Arts District parking garage. This parking area is located at 431 W. Main at the corner of N Walker and W Main. Their rates are 2 USD for the first hour and 1 USD for every additional hour or 10 USD for all day. Public parking is available Monday to Thursday 6pm - 12am. Weekend hours are Friday at 6pm through Sunday at 12am.

How to book tickets


Tickets can be purchased online at the official ticket purchase site. Group tours must be scheduled in advance and can be arranged by calling +1 405 278 8213. Discounted tickets are available for groups of 15 or more. The admission price covers the entire museum including the museum’s permanent and special exhibits.
