When travelling for a beach vacation it is important to know the basic things you need to pack and bring along with you. One of the basic things is beach towels. As well as being soft to touch, cotton is the best material for beach towels because of its ability to absorb moisture quickly. A key quality in any towel is absorbency. It is even more important in your beach towel for a couple of reasons. A beach towel is thinner than the regular bath towel because its major importance is to serve as a barrier between the sand and the body. They are also designed to dry off easily. You can carry a couple of beach towels to avoid any disappointments

2. Flip flops

The most important tip for selecting beach shoes is to give preference to solace without forgetting about fashion. If there’s a shoe style closely associate with the beach, it’s, of course, flip flops. Coming in a wide variety of cool prints and colours, flip flops look relaxed and classy both while walking on the sandy beach and off the shore. They are especially a good option when you quite often lack the time and have to put on something hurriedly before going out to the beach. You can pack a few pairs of flip flops for your beach vacation. You can also confirm with your host on the beach if they offer flip flops instead of carrying yours along.

3. Drinking water

First of all, it’s important to stay hydrated, especially if you are going to spend the day at the beach. Pack bottled water in your luggage or purchase one at the local supermarket. Travelling to the beach with fresh water in hand is key as it is easy to get dehydrated in the sun on the beach. We like to use insulated stainless steel water bottles at the beach because they are well insulated and great for the environment. Do not carry plastic water bottles to the beach because they might get carried away into the water and pollute it. Water is an essential thing when packing for a beach vacation.

4. Sunglasses

Be sure to shelter your eyes from the scorching sun on the beach. Everyone should at least own a pair of sunglasses to ensure the bright sun on the beach does not harm their eyes. It is good to ensure they do have UV protection for the well-being of your eyes. When visiting the beach make sure you pick sunglasses with bright colours, it is an impressive way to append a snap of colour to your beach look. Sunglasses with polarized lenses are modelled to mitigate blaze from the reflective areas so if you are at the beach they are a perfect option for getting rid of light bouncing from sand or water intensifying colour contrasts. Do not forget to pack a pair for your beach vacation.

When you are going to the beach, the number one thing you need is a swimsuit. It’s always advisable to carry along two or more bathing suits so that you always have a supplementary dry one. There are various labels which produce standard bathing suits which are modern and cosy. Be sure to grab a swimsuit if you are arranging for kitesurfing, surfing, bodyboarding or playing beach volleyball. When purchasing swimsuits or boarding shorts, it is best to pick darker colours as they hold up longer. Make sure you pack your best bathing suits when travelling for a beach vacation.

6. Hat

If you are wondering what to pack in order to cover your head, I would recommend a stylish beach hat. Hats will protect you from the sun on the beach. Straw hats always have a major moment during the summer at the beach. They are light and easy to pack for all your beach resort vacations. These hats will provide enough shade to keep you cool, even on the hottest days. Plus, you can wear this hat along with any type of beachwear. When lying down on the warm sand reading a book or novel, the hat will make sure the sun rays do not hit you directly. Always make sure to carry several hats for your beach vacation.

7. Small umbrella

There’s nothing better than having a cool day at the beachside. The blazing sun, cool wind whipping around you every now and then and the hot sand beneath your feet, all these will definitely make an interesting and a charming day. Beach umbrellas will surely protect you from the scorching sun. If you go without a beach umbrella, you will only enjoy 10 minutes before you plan to pack up and go back home. This is because seating under the scorching sun will be too much without an umbrella. Make sure you pack a strong umbrella when travelling to your beach destination.

8. Kids' toys

This 18-piece fun beach toy set will keep your children busy for hours at the beach. It is made of high-quality BPA plastic that is perfect for your kids to play in the sand. These toys ensure kids don’t disrupt you and you can also enjoy your time on the beach. Make sure to pack a set of toys when heading to the beach.

9. Sunscreen lotion

Do not forget your sunscreen lotion when travelling to the beach. We recommend purchasing some at your local supermarket or making an order online before leaving the house as you will buy an expensive one at your beach resort which might be of low quality. Its recommended you get an eco-friendly sun cream that does not contain harmful chemicals that can affect your skin. There are mineral based ones which cost only a few dollars and help protect our oceans. Skin cancer is real; you cannot afford to expose to the risky sun. Always purchase a high-quality sunscreen lotion and pack it when travelling for your beach vacation.

10. Ready-to-eat snacks

As blissful as a warm beach day can be, it also comes with its own supply of stress. Instead of waiting until it’s time to buy lunch, which is either stored in flimsy take out boxes or open to dirt and other elements, pack a few items that can be easily stored away until you are ready to eat. Once other beachgoers see your delicious meal, they may wish for a seat under your umbrella. Some of the delicious meals you can prepare and carry along include baked guacamole tortilla chips, mango chipotle chicken salad, Greek pasta salad and dark chocolate fig oatmeal bites. Make sure you prepare a delicious bite to enjoy under your umbrella.
