8. Borgo dell'Arte J.Suite (from USD 80)
This is a Dammuso that goes way back from the 9th century but it was beautifully restored in 2015 into a comfortable holiday home for travelers. This lovely place can be romantic for couples or warmth for families with little kids. Sleeping under the vaults is a special experience you can get here.
It is nicely furnished with a room with a master bed, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room with a sofa bed. Breakfast is served upon request at the famous local cafe 20 meters (66 feet) away. The home sits on a quiet street which offers you some peace but also three minutes away from the Scicli town so you can easily reach attractions, restaurants and the night life. Most importantly, the host, Vincenzo is helpful, welcoming and lavish with his hospitality.
